BLOOD WORKSHOP
In this experiment we played about with making different types of blood. We used a lot of different recipes but our main recipe was mint blood. We used hot water, corn starch, syrup, red and blue food colouring and mint extract. At first we just used red food colouring but it didn't look realistic, so we decided to use a bit of blue food colouring to darken it up. When we first added the blue food colouring we added to much so the whole thing turned blue, but eventually after adding more red it turned into a realistic blood colour. Below is our final video of the making of the blood and the after experiments to test each recipe:
We found that the coffee recipe was the most efficient and gave the most realistic final result. This recipe consisted of coffee, syrup, sugar, water, red food colouring, green food colouring & strawberry ice cream sauce. We found that this recipe had the best result with the colour, texture and consistency.
