Preliminary task
For our preliminary task we had to use a range of camera angles and filming techniques to shoot one character walking in to a room, through a door, walking across a room, sitting down opposite another character and having a short conversation. When we were filming this we had to include match on action which is used to check the quality of continuity; we also had to include shot reverse shot to show the two people having their conversation. At first we did not fully understand it and we wanted our video to look as realistic as possible so we did some research using Google and Youtube; we found an image from Google Images that clearly explains this rule and also a video from Youtube that was easy to follow and understand. This is what we found that made us successfully understand it and be able to use it to the best of our ability:
